About the Role We are looking for a Product UX/UI Designer to join our product team and help design, improve, and scale digital products for a leading African telecom & fintech group, with a strong focus on mobile transactional experiences and the client's flagship mobile merchant/agent app. This role is ideal for someone with a strong product mindset, excellent UX fundamentals, and solid UI execution capabilities. You will work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment alongside product managers, developers, business stakeholders, and marketing teams to create scalable, user-centric mobile experiences across multiple countries. We value designers who prioritize usability over aesthetics, think in systems, and understand the connection between design, product strategy, and delivery. Key Responsibilities Product UX Design Understand user needs, product challenges, and business constraints Design intuitive, scalable, and efficient user journeys Create user flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes Contribute to product thinking and UX decision-making Apply UX best practices around usability, accessibility, information architecture, and interaction logic Identify friction points and continuously improve the user experience User Testing & UX Validation Prepare and conduct user testing sessions Build feedback frameworks and UX questionnaires Analyze user behaviors and product usage patterns Translate user insights into actionable product improvements Collaborate with product
