SENIOR COMPUTER AND INFORMATION SYSTEMS ENGINEER SPECIALIST Concurrent Technologies Corporation Huntsville, AL Minimum Clearance Required: Secret Clearance Clearance Level Must Be Able to Obtain: TS/SCI The Senior Computer and Information Systems Engineer Specialist leads the design, implementation, and optimization of computer and information systems to ensure the reliability, security, and efficiency of IT infrastructure supporting defense-related operations. This advanced-level position involves applying deep technical expertise, solving complex challenges, and driving strategic IT initiatives. The role requires leadership in system integration, cybersecurity, and compliance, as well as mentoring junior staff and collaborating with stakeholders to achieve organizational and client objectives. Key Responsibilities System Design, Implementation, and Optimization Lead the architecture, design, and deployment of complex IT systems, including hardware, software, and network infrastructure, ensuring alignment with DoD standards (e.g., DISA STIGs, RMF). Oversee system performance monitoring and optimization using advanced tools such as Splunk, SolarWinds, or similar platforms, ensuring high availability and scalability. Develop and implement strategies for system upgrades, migrations, and modernization to support evolving mission requirements. Manage virtualized environments and cloud-based systems (e.g., AWS GovCloud, Azure Government), ensuring secure and efficient operations.
