The Role At Capco, we are looking for a Senior DevOps / DevSecOps Engineer to join our Technology & Engineering practice in Toronto. This is an opportunity to deliver secure, scalable automation solutions and enhance engineering practices across complex financial services environments. You will bring deep technical expertise in Python, GitHub, and GitHub Actions to design and optimize CI/CD pipelines, embed security into development workflows, and build reusable automation solutions that improve delivery efficiency and reliability. Working alongside engineering, development, and security teams, you will help shape modern DevSecOps practices, solve complex technical challenges, and contribute to high-impact technology transformation initiatives. What You’ll Do Design and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, developing reusable workflows, custom actions, and scalable automation solutions. Build advanced Python automation including complex scripts, frameworks, REST API integrations, and tools that streamline engineering processes. Embed security throughout the software development lifecycle, integrating automated vulnerability scanning, security testing, compliance controls, and secure deployment practices. Manage and enhance GitHub environments, including repository administration, branching strategies, pull requests, access controls, secrets management, and security configurations.
