📌 We have an open requirement for a Senior Data Engineer / Tech Lead – Databricks & FastAP I to join a long-term project with a major international Swiss investment bank. 📍 Work mode: Hybrid – 3 days per week in Kraków Experience Required: 7+ Years Key Skills (Must Have): Strong experience in Data Engineering and Python development. Hands-on expertise in FastAPI, including API development and enhancements. Extensive knowledge of Databricks, PySpark, SQL, and Delta Lake. Experience with Unity Catalog migrations. Strong background in Databricks Structured Streaming and real-time data processing. Experience working with Oracle, SQL Server, and Informatica. Ability to independently design and implement scalable data engineering solutions. Understanding of the Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) domain. Additional Preferred Skills: Azure Cloud and Databricks administration. CI/CD, Git, Azure DevOps, or GitLab. Spark performance tuning and optimization. Technical leadership and stakeholder management experience. Databricks certifications would be an added advantage. Key Responsibilities Develop and enhance FastAPI-based services and integrations. Build scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Databricks and PySpark. Lead Unity Catalog migration and data modernization initiatives. Implement and optimize real-time streaming solutions.
