Your role As a Senior Kubernetes Platform Engineer , you will play a key role in maintaining the stability, reliability, and operational health of production Kubernetes environments. Acting as the primary Day-2 operator, you will lead incident response, oversee patching and node maintenance activities, and ensure services remain resilient through proactive monitoring, troubleshooting, and continuous operational improvements. Your tasks Own incident intake, monitoring triage, and alert handling across platforms such as Icinga, Checkmk, Grafana , and other operational tools. Execute first-line incident response activities, including validation, troubleshooting, evidence collection, and escalation management. Diagnose cluster and node issues using tools such as K9s, Kibana, SSH, logs, events, and monitoring platforms . Build evidence packs and collaborate with virtualization, network, storage, Linux, and application teams to resolve complex issues. Supervise weekly patching activities and perform post-patch health validation and service verification. Manage Kubernetes node lifecycl
