Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) / QA
Full-time/Company: Startale Group
Startale Group is building StartaleApp, a next-generation Web3 application that brings together blockchain and DeFi functionality into a single user experience. The platform interacts with multiple blockchain networks, smart contracts, wallets, tokens, and on-chain protocols across frontend, backend and decentralized systems.
Applicants must be located in APAC, Asia, EMEA, the UK, Singapore, or Tokyo.
Responsibilities:
- Design and build the company’s quality engineering platform and testing architecture.
- Build and maintain reusable test frameworks, shared libraries, fixtures, and developer tooling.
- Implement AI-assisted QA workflows using LLMs for automated test generation, failure analysis, and maintenance.
- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD with fast feedback, quality gates, and test execution optimizations.
- Validate complex Web3/DeFi user flows and design performance, load, and reliability testing for distributed systems.
Requirements:
- 5+ years in SDET, Quality Engineering, Test Automation, or software engineering roles.
- Strong software engineering skills with JavaScript or TypeScript.
- Experience designing testing architecture for complex distributed systems.
- Experience building scalable automation frameworks and end-to-end testing (Playwright or Cypress).
- Experience testing APIs (REST, JSON-RPC, GraphQL, WebSocket) and integrating tests into CI/CD.
