Summary of the Job: The Banking Automation Engineer Intern supports the design, development, testing, and documentation of automated solutions that improve efficiency, reduce manual processes, and enhance operational accuracy across key banking functions such as Risk, Operations, Finance, and Treasury. This developmental role gains hands-on experience with Python, and cloud-based technologies, including services within Amazon Web Services (AWS), while completing clearly scoped assignments under the guidance of Banking Automation Engineers and senior team members. The intern supports reliable automation solutions that integrate with enterprise data platforms and reporting tools. The ideal candidate combines curiosity, attention to detail, and a process improvement mindset with an interest in learning how cloud environments and automation technologies support resilient, maintainable solutions within a regulated banking environment. About This Role: Job Responsibilities · Assist with designing, developing, and testing automation solutions using Python, and workflow platforms · Support automation scripts used for data processing, reporting workflows, and operational processes · Translate documented requirements and examples into small, maintainable automation components under team guidance
