Our client is looking for an experienced Software Engineer to join our client's team on a short-term contract. The ideal candidate will have strong backend development experience, particularly with TypeScript and Node.js, and a solid understanding of modern API architectures, serverless technologies, and AI-driven applications. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using TypeScript and Node.js. Build and integrate REST and GraphQL APIs to support modern web applications and services. Develop and optimize solutions leveraging serverless and edge-based architectures. Implement and maintain automated testing, including unit, integration, and contract testing. Support CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient software development and deployment. Work within Server-Side Rendering (SSR) environments and integrate content management solutions such as Kontent.ai. Contribute to AI-driven development initiatives, including prompt engineering and schema design. Collaborate with technical stakeholders to troubleshoot issues, improve performance, and deliver reliable solutions. Required Skills & Experience Strong professional experience developing applications with TypeScript and Node.js. Proven experience designing, building, and integrating REST and GraphQL APIs. Solid understanding of serverless computing and edge-based architectures. Hands-on experience with testing frameworks and automated testing strategies. Experience working with CI/CD pipeline
