Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) / QA
Full-time/Company: Startale Group
Startale Group is building StartaleApp, a next-generation Web3 application that combines blockchain and DeFi functionality into a single user experience. The platform spans frontend apps, backend services, blockchain integrations and smart contracts.
Candidates must be located in Singapore, Tokyo, or within APAC/Asia, EMEA, or the UK.
Responsibilities:
- Design, build and evolve the company’s quality engineering platform and testing architecture across unit, integration, contract, API and end-to-end testing.
- Build and maintain reusable testing frameworks, shared libraries, fixtures and developer tooling to improve developer experience.
- Design and implement AI-assisted quality engineering workflows for automated test generation, failure analysis and regression detection.
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines with fast feedback, quality gates, parallelization and intelligent test selection.
- Validate complex Web3 and DeFi flows (wallets, tokens, smart contracts, transaction lifecycle, swaps, staking, lending) and edge cases like reorgs, gas issues and slippage.
- Build containerized testing environments and develop performance, load, resilience and reliability testing; improve observability for production issue investigation.
Requirements:
- 5+ years in SDET, Quality Engineering, Test Automation or Software Engineering roles.
