Senior Staff Security Architect Role Overview Coupang’s Security Architects play a critical role in defining and governing the security architecture that protects Coupang’s internal business systems, infrastructure, and enterprise platforms at scale. As a Security Architect, you will own the security strategy, standards, and architectural direction across identity, authentication, authorization, credential management, cryptography, and data protection domains. You will act as a principal technical leader, partnering closely with engineering and platform teams to build secure-by-design systems while driving security automation and operational excellence across the organization. This role is highly hands-on. While responsible for architectural leadership and policy definition, you will also contribute to software development, automation initiatives, and technical implementation to enable scalable security solutions throughout Coupang. What You Will Do Architect and scale enterprise security foundations for Coupang’s rapidly growing business, establishing reference architectures, security standards, and governance frameworks across identity and access management, authentication, authorization, cryptographic services, and data protection.
