Role and key responsibilities: The Technical Application Support Engineer will support and evolve core banking applications, integration platforms, and management information systems across Microsoft Azure and on-premises environments. The role combines application support, Azure environment administration, CI/CD pipeline management, and operational troubleshooting, with a focus on reliable change delivery and system stability. The engineer will work with Business Change, development teams, and Group IT to support, automate, and continuously improve application platforms and infrastructure using DevOps principles across development, test, production, and disaster recovery (DR) environments. Provide end-to-end operational support for banking and enabling applications, underlying infrastructure, and platform services across Development, Test, Production, and DR environments. Administer Microsoft Azure environments, including resource monitoring, access control, logging, and environment configuration.
