External Job Ad Sr. Devops EngineerAbout the team The DevOps team supports Applied Systems' product development teams and user base across the US, UK, Canada and India. We own the build, source control, release and deployment tooling that engineers rely on every day, and we build and maintain the development and test environments used to deliver our insurance software products. We work closely with development, QA, cloud and infrastructure teams in an Agile way of working, and we are increasingly using AI to automate and improve how we build, deploy and operate our platforms. About the role As a DevOps Engineer, you deliver great work while expanding your knowledge and deepening your technical skills. The team can rely on you to complete assigned work by drawing on past experience and getting input when needed. Your work is high quality, and you collaborate with the team to deliver what is needed. What success looks like DevOps platform capabilities (build, source control, deployment, monitoring and test environments) are set up and maintained to meet defined specifications. Work is completed within expected timelines with limited guidance, and status is communicated to support the team. Troubleshooting support is delivered and questions are answered using documentation and monitoring tools, with others engaged on high-complexity issues when needed. Internal teams understand existing DevOps services and how to get support for complex requests or new services. Reliable deliver
