TransUnion's Job Applicant Privacy Notice Personal Information We Collect Your Privacy Choices Team Overview TransUnion Consumer Interactive (TUCI) develops and supports consumer-facing credit monitoring and protection applications. This engineering team focuses on delivering reliable digital experiences while exploring how Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Generative AI can improve code quality, reduce defects, increase development efficiency, and enhance customer experiences. The successful candidate will join an established team that collaborates across the United States and India. This role reports to Senior Manager of Application Development. This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week. Role Overview and Core Responsibilities Lead the technical design and hands-on development of customer-facing web applications, Java-based backend services, microservices, and RESTful APIs. Translate business and technical requirements into detailed application designs and independently drive projects from design through implementation. Remain actively involved in coding while guiding junior and mid-level engineers, reviewing code, and promoting software-engineering best practices. Develop and support full-stack solutions using Java, Spring Boot, Oracle/SQL, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and related technologies. Partner with production support teams to investig
