About the team and the role: eBay Inc. seeks MTS 2, Software Engineer in San Jose, CA What you will accomplish: Job Duties: Design and Develop Backend Systems for Knowledge Graph Construction and Integration. Lead the architecture and implementation of backend systems that generate and maintain eBay’s Knowledge Graph (KG), which powers product search, recommendations, and selling experiences across the marketplace. Build scalable microservices and data orchestration layers that transform eBay’s massive buyer/seller activity data into structured knowledge entities and relationships. Collaborate with Applied Science Teams to Integrate Knowledge Graph Signals into ML Models and Search Ranking. Define and refine features such as entity embeddings, graph traversals, and semantic similarity meas
