What you bringMaster student in Computer Science or comparable education with a strong passion for software developmentHands-on experience with at least one of Java, Node.js, or Python (ideally more)Experience with, or a strong interest in, observability concepts and OpenTelemetryFamiliarity with Git-based workflows (pull requests, code reviews) and automated testingExperience with SAP technologies (SAP CAP, CDS, SAP BAIP, Cloud Foundry) is a plusStrong oral and written English and German language skillsVery good communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and coordinate across several teams and stakeholdersWhat you'll buildDiscuss requirements and implementation designs across teamsDevelop and extend features in different programming languages, like Java, Node.js, and PythonWrite unit and integration tests and validate results in build pipelinesWork with observability and metering concepts (e.g., OpenTelemetry)Deploy and configure demo applications on SAP BAIP Cloud FoundryCoordinate independently with metering, platform, and development teamsExpand your knowledge of tools and technologies (GitHub, Jira, Maven, CI/CD, SAP CAP)Learn about new technologies and share your knowledgeWhere you belongSAP is committed to a suite of intelligent and integrated business processes supported by the Business AI Platform (BAIP).
