Senior Microsoft Power BI Developer Location: New York, NY Contract Looking for a local resource who can go for in-person interview at NYC. Candidate with background from Banking / Financial Institutions preferred Experience: 10+ Years   Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Senior Microsoft Power BI Developer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level BI solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Power BI, data modeling, DAX, SQL, and data visualization, with the ability to translate business requirements into actionable insights and interactive dashboards. Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and deploy Power BI reports, dashboards, and scorecards.Create and optimize complex DAX calculations, measures, and KPIs.Develop and maintain data models, ETL processes, and data integrations.Work with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into BI solutions.Optimize Power BI performance, data refresh schedules, and report usability.Implement row-level security (RLS) and data governance best practices.Integrate Power BI with Azure, SQL Server, SharePoint, and other data sources.Mentor junior developers and support BI platform governance.Troubleshoot reporting issues and ensure data accuracy and reliability. Required Skills10+ years of experience in Business Intelligence and Data Analytics.8+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Power BI.Strong expertise in DAX, Power Query (M Language), Data Modeling, and SQL.Experienc
