HIRING Software Engineer - PHP | Crown Interactive 📍 Location: Lagos Job Type: Full-Time Job Field: ICT / Computer About the Role Crown Interactive is seeking an experienced PHP Software Engineer to develop, maintain, and optimize software applications, build APIs, and deliver secure, high-performance solutions. Key Responsibilities • Develop, test, and maintain PHP-based web applications. • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code. • Collaborate with developers, designers, and engineers to build seamless user experiences. • Optimize application performance and troubleshoot issues. • Design APIs and integrate third-party services. • Maintain and improve database structures. • Implement security and data protection best practices. • Participate in code reviews and improve development workflows. • Contribute to learning, development, and mentorship programmes. Requirements • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field. • Minimum of 6 years’ experience as a PHP Software Engineer. • Strong knowledge of PHP 7+, OOP, Yii1, Yii2, Linux, and Laravel. • Experience with MVC frameworks, SQL databases, and query optimization. • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Git, API development, and integrations. • Experience in database design, workflow systems, enterprise platforms, and SaaS deployment. • Understanding of security and performance optimization. • Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills. • Ability to work independent
