What you'll bring You have hands-on experience with cloud platforms, backend development, and containerized environments. 4 to 8 years of experience with proficiency in Python or Go for building scalable backend services and microservices. Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration, and familiarity with Argo Workflows for deployment and workflow automation. Experience with at least one major cloud platform — AWS, GCP, or Azure — and a solid understanding of cloud architecture and scalability. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, observability tools, and performance monitoring. Exposure to agentic orchestration, AI governance operations, and AI-assisted development practices. A degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience. We also look for people who build trust naturally, communicate with clarity, keep the customer at the centre of what they do, and bring emotional intelligence and genuine problem-solving ability to the challenges they face. In addition to the skills and experience specific to this role, all positions at SAP require candidates who are comfortable using AI tools — including agentic AI — in their day-to-day work, from crafting effective inputs and automating routine tasks, to evaluating AI-generated outputs for quality and driving adoption of AI practices within their teams.
