Job Summary: Altus Group is building modern, AWS-native platforms and is seeking a hands-on Tech Lead who combines strong engineering expertise with technical leadership. This role serves as a senior technical voice on the team, responsible for writing and reviewing production code, driving architectural decisions, and owning mission-critical services end-to-end. The Tech Lead will raise the technical bar through mentorship, strong engineering practices, and clear decision-making while partnering closely with Product, Engineering, and Architecture teams. Key Responsibilities Technical Ownership & Architecture Own system design for complex, high-impact initiatives from analysis through implementation Take end-to-end ownership of mission-critical services, ensuring reliability, scalability, and long-term sustainability Manage and reduce technical debt strategically Design cost-efficient, cloud-native solutions Engineering Excellence Set and uphold standards for code quality, testing, observability, security, and documentation Champion automated testing and “shift-left” quality practices Promote
