About the role: We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer to build data driven, scalable, and secure applications and tools that support the sales and service delivery organization at Gartner. You will be part of a scrum team, responsible for the full stack design, development and delivery of web applications and microservices, and for coordinating closely with the business. What you’ll do: Own the design, development, testing and delivery of features end to end — from requirement discussion through to production support. Lead and contribute to architecture and technical design discussions, and document and review detailed designs. Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to review and analyze business requirements and translate them into workable technical solutions. Make decisions independently on analytical problems and methods, including root cause analysis of production issues and preventive follow-up. Perform and participate in code reviews, peer inspections and design specification reviews, upholding coding and testing standards. Actively participate in all Scrum ceremonies and take ownership of sprint commitments within a globally distributed team. Mentor junior and mid-level engineers, and contribute to continual improvement of architecture, engineering practices and tooling.
