About the Role Join a small team building multimodal AI agents for customer communication across voice, SMS, and email. You will own a core product or engineering domain end to end, shape decisions directly with customers, and help bring reliable AI systems into production. What You'll Do Own a domain from architecture through frequent production releases. Speak with customers, synthesize feedback, and make product decisions independently. Build and optimize multimodal agents, including low-latency voice experiences and persistent, cross-channel conversation state. Set quality practices for non-deterministic systems, including evaluations, prompt versioning, guardrails, and drift detection. Work across React and Next.js interfaces, Node.js services, and Python systems. What We're Looking For Three to eight years of full-stack engineering experience, with a record of shipping and scaling products from early stages in fast-paced environments. Production proficiency in TypeScript, Node.js, React, and Next.js, plus experience building Python services. Hands-on production experience with LLM APIs or agent SDKs, such as Anthropic, OpenAI, or comparable tools. Strong depth in at least one area: production voice or SMS agents, long-running agent state and memory, agent evaluations and guardrails, or B2B2C and marketplace products.
