Position Overview: Intermediate Appian Developer responsible for planning, configuring, developing, and maintaining Appian applications across classified and unclassified domains. Working under the technical direction of the Appian lead developer, the developer builds process models, SAIL interfaces, records, reports, and integrations that automate mission workflows and give leaders accurate, timely information. This position supports stakeholders through requirements gathering, customer support, and troubleshooting, and delivers solutions that meet defined requirements and DAF security standards in DoD IL5/IL6 environments. Responsibilities Configure, develop, and maintain Appian sites, interfaces, records, components, and other Appian objects based on approved requirements. Build and maintain process models in the Appian Process Modeler, including Smart Services, gateways, sub-processes, and exception handling. Develop responsive SAIL interfaces for desktop and mobile users using the Interface Designer. Configure Appian Records (Data Fabric) and build grid- and chart-based reports and dashboards. Create and update Custom Data Types (CDTs) and supporting database objects in SQL, MariaDB, or Oracle. Configure integrations and Connected Systems using Web APIs, and parse JSON outputs.
