As a DevOps Engineer reporting to Senior Director of Software Engineering you'll play a critical role in building and operating the cloud and infrastructure foundation that powers a new R&D team focused on responsible AI for global financial markets. You'll thrive in this position if you're hands-on, curious, and take full ownership of outcomes - someone who embraces Agile ways of working, welcomes candid feedback, and looks for solutions rather than culprits. Key Responsibilities Automate AWS infrastructure deployments using Terraform and GitLab CI/CD pipelines, ensuring reliable, repeatable delivery across environments. Own and operate Kubernetes clusters, including upgrades, configuration management, and containerized service reliability. Maintain observability, secrets management, high availability, and reliability standards across all environments. Identify opportunities to integrate AI-assisted tooling into operational workflows, pipelines, and product development. Collaborate across teams, contribute to continuous improvement, and take accountability for team goals and outcomes. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience. Proven years of experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, or a related discipline. Hands-on experience deploying and managing Kubernetes clusters and containerized applications (Docker, Podman, or similar).
