React Native Engineer

This role is for one of Weekday’s clients Min Experience: 3+ years Location: Bengaluru JobType: full-time We are looking for a skilled React Native Engineer to take end-to-end ownership of a live consumer mobile application built with React Native, TypeScript, and Expo. The application has supported significant user growth, and the next milestone is scaling to one million users while delivering a seamless, reliable, and high-performance mobile experience. This role goes beyond feature development.

You will own the entire mobile development lifecycle, including architecture, implementation, automated testing, releases, performance optimisation, and production support. You will focus on improving conversion rates, reducing crashes, accelerating app performance, and simplifying critical user journeys across a wide range of devices and network conditions. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with product thinking, excellent UI/UX judgment, and a proactive approach to delivering measurable business outcomes.

• End-to-End Mobile App Ownership Design, develop, test, release, and maintain the React Native application. Manage frequent releases, including two to three builds per week, and implement over-the-air (OTA) updates and hotfixes.
