About the role TAXIECO New World Limited is seeking four talented software engineers to join our Intelligent Transportation & Geospatial Data Research and Development team. This is a full-time opportunity based in Sha Tin District, offering the chance to work on cutting-edge technology that shapes the future of transportation systems. As a member of this R&D team, you will be at the forefront of developing innovative solutions that combine intelligent transportation systems with advanced geospatial data analysis. Your work will have a direct impact on how transportation networks are optimized and how data-driven insights improve mobility solutions. This is a strategic role within our organization, contributing to our mission of revolutionizing transportation through technology. Key responsibilities Position 1: Computer Vision Algorithm Researcher (PhD / Master's) Discipline : Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or a related STEM discipline Core Responsibilities : R&D of lightweight on-vehicle vision models (lane detection, object detection, semantic segmentation); optimize model inference performance on embedded devices Required Skills : PyTorch / TensorFlow, CNN / Transformer architectures, model quantization and pruning, OpenCV Corresponding R&D Direction : 3.1 Crowdsourced Mapping Engine, 3.2 Event Detection System Position 2: Geospatial Data Scientist (PhD / Master's) Discipline : Geographic Information Science, Surveying Engineering, Computer Science, or a related
