The role sits within Technology, in the team responsible for the quality and reliability of Marex’s payments and FX platforms in Asia Pacific. The team combines manual/functional testing with test automation, increasingly leveraging AI-assisted tools and agentic automation, and works closely with engineering, operations and business teams so that payment flows, SWIFT/ISO 20022 messaging and FX workflows are delivered to a high standard. Role Summary The QA Test Engineer – Payments & FX is based in Singapore and is responsible for the quality assurance of domestic and cross-border payment and FX workflows. The role combines manual/functional testing with test automation, with a strong focus on payment processing, SWIFT, ISO 20022 and modern AI-assisted test automation. An experienced, proactive individual with 3–5 years of QA/testing experience and strong payments domain knowledge. Intermediate level position with the ability to work autonomously, and also as part of a team, collaborating with engineering and business teams to investigate defects and drive them through to resolution.
