About the role Join the team behind Tellent Recruitee , our Applicant Tracking System trusted by thousands of organizations around the world to attract and hire great people. As a Senior Backend Engineer, you'll help evolve a product where reliability, scalability, and a great user experience matter. You'll join Team Hire , a collaborative group of Backend and Frontend Engineers, working closely with Design, QA, and DevOps to solve complex problems at scale. We're looking for an engineer who combines strong technical skills with a product mindset: someone who asks "why?" before building, thinks about the impact on users, and helps the team find pragmatic solutions to technical challenges. Your primary focus will be backend development in Elixir , working on both new capabilities and the modernization of our existing codebase. Whether you're already experienced with Elixir or coming from another backend technology such as Ruby on Rails, Python, Java, or PHP, you'll have the support of experienced teammates as you deepen your expertise. Your First Year at Tellent First 3 months: You'll get to know the team, our product, and our architecture while contributing to your first meaningful improvements. You'll become familiar with our engineering practices and ways of working, supported by experienced teammates as you get up to speed with our Elixir stack.
