As a Senior Java Developer, you will design and deliver microservices solutions that power global reference data used by clients across Citi. Working within a global engineering environment, you will drive architecture decisions for new applications, influence technical direction and raise the bar on coding and security practices. This is an opportunity to shape high-impact platforms while sharing your expertise across teams. Responsibilities • Design and deliver end-to-end microservices solutions as a Senior Java Developer, supporting global reference data used by clients across Citi. • Shape architecture decisions for new microservices applications, setting technical direction within a global engineering environment. • Build secure, high-performing Java applications using modern frameworks and well-defined REST APIs. • Coordinate with on-site and off-site engineering teams to align delivery across the project. • Introduce industry-leading coding standards and software architecture practices across the team. • Select and implement tools that strengthen secure and efficient code development. • Share technical expertise with colleagues inside and outside the immediate team to raise overall engineering capability. Required Qualifications & Skills • 6+ years of hands-on Java development experience, including strong proficiency in Java 1.8+ (Citi currently uses Java 17). • Hands-on experience with Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Spring Security, JPA and Hibernate for building ente
