- The role is responsible for supporting end-to-end data and reporting services across the
- analytics landscape, including Power BI dashboards, Azure Databricks data processing
- and transformation pipelines, Azure SQL/Synapse data warehouses, minor
- enhancements and associated Azure data platform components.
Mandatory
- 8+ years of experience in BI, Data Engineering, or Analytics Platform Support.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience supporting Azure Databricks environments.
- Strong PySpark development and troubleshooting experience.
- Experience supporting enterprise-wide analytics and reporting platforms.
- Strong SQL troubleshooting and data investigation skills.
- Experience supporting Power BI production environments.
- Experience working in a production support or IT operations environment.
- We are looking for a hands-on site reliability engineer with strong expertise across the entire analytics value chain:
- Source Systems → Azure Data Factory → Azure Data Lake → Databricks (PySpark
- Transformations) → Azure SQL/Synapse → Power BI Dashboards & MI Reporting
- The ideal candidate should be equally comfortable investigating a failed dashboard refresh,
- troubleshooting a Databricks job, analysing SQL data discrepancies, or resolving an end-to-end data
- pipeline failure.
