Role: Senior Software Developer Experience: 4-7 years Location: Mumbai/Bangalore Must-Have Skills C# and .NET: Strong production experience with .NET Framework 4.x and modern .NET (.NET 8+), async programming, dependency injection, configuration. Services and hosting: ASP.NET Core, Worker Services, Windows services, and hosting the same code base on Windows and Linux/containers. Legacy modernization: Migrating .NET Framework projects to modern .NET, replacing [link] dependencies, multi-targeting, characterization tests. Windows platform knowledge: WMI, registry, event log, certificate store, service accounts, 32-bit/64-bit and native interop. APIs: REST design, versioning, authentication and authorization, OpenAPI. Data: PostgreSQL (Npgsql, EF Core/Dapper), migrations; exposure to SQL Server and SQLite. Reliability: Scheduling, retries, timeouts, cancellation, failure isolation, structured logging. Testing: Unit and integration tests (xUnit/NUnit), mocking, TDD practices. Good-to-Have Skills Messaging (RabbitMQ), outbox and idempotent-delivery patterns. Dock
