Project Controls Manager

Job Description Summary The Project Controls & Planning Manager – HVDC is responsible for leading the planning, scheduling, monitoring, and control of HVDC projects throughout the project lifecycle. This role ensures effective project execution by establishing robust project controls, managing schedules, monitoring progress, identifying risks and opportunities, and supporting financial and operational performance. The position works closely with project management, engineering, procurement, construction, and commercial teams to deliver complex HVDC projects on time, within budget, and in line with contractual and organizational requirements.

Job Description Project Planning & Scheduling Develop, maintain, and manage integrated master schedules for HVDC projects covering engineering, procurement, manufacturing, construction, commissioning, and handover activities. Support defining project control standards, planning structures, progress measurement systems, and reporting frameworks. Ensure alignment of project schedules with contractual milestones, execution strategy, and customer requirements.

Monitor schedule performance and identify deviations, delays, and critical path impacts. Lead schedule review meetings and provide recovery plans where required. Project Controls Management Support establishing and implementation of project controls processes, tools, and governance mechanisms for HVDC projects.
