As a Principal Frontend / WebGL Engineer at Technosylva, you will play a crucial role in shaping the architecture, quality, and technical direction of the interactive, data-rich web applications we build for our clients. You will lead the frontend engineering effort — setting standards and mentoring other developers while staying hands-on with the code — and help design and deliver high-performance, visually rich experiences, including real-time 2D/3D geospatial visualizations powered by WebGL. As we continue to scale, we are looking for a technical leader who can help us build better solutions. RESPONSIBILITIES Own the technical vision and architecture of our frontend platform. Define the technical roadmap, design large-scale systems, and align technical goals with business objectives. Design and build high-performance, interactive web applications, including real-time 2D/3D and geospatial visualizations using WebGL. Set and enforce standards for clean, efficient, maintainable, and well-tested code across the frontend team. Lead and mentor other frontend developers, performing code reviews and fostering technical growth. Integrate frontend components with existing products, backend services, and REST APIs. Optimize rendering performance, memory usage, and load times for large and complex datasets. Troubleshoot and debug complex issues across browsers and devices; recommend and implement improvements.
