We are seeking a Vault Infrastructure Engineer to develop institutional-grade Web3 vault asset management infrastructure. The project will use smart contract-based pooled vaults and multi-party computation (MPC) custody technology to automate yield generation, tokenized asset pooling, and treasury security. It is a new 3-year R&D project, funded under the Innovation and Technology Fund (ITF) Research Talent Hub (RTH-SPC).
Key
Research vault architectures for pooled asset management and related yield-generation strategies. Design smart contracts for vault share issuance, deposits and redemptions, rebalancing, fee mechanics, and strategy allocation. Develop APIs to integrate vault workflows with custody, accounting, and reporting systems.
Implement MPC-based treasury infrastructure: threshold-signature signing, quorum policies, address whitelists, withdrawal limits, and transaction-monitoring mechanisms. Build prototypes and test cases covering depeg events, oracle failures, emergency withdrawals, circuit breakers, and exceptions. Evaluate alternative blockchain architectures, vault standards (e.g., ERC-4626), and settlement mechanisms.
Document research findings, technical specifications, risks, limitations, and test results. Present prototypes and findings to management and business stakeholders.
