Job Title: Senior Design Engineer (Solar PV Design) / Design Engineer Location: Pune (Work from Office) Experience: 3-5 Years of relevant experience in Solar PV design / engineering / renewable energy consulting. Strong hands-on experience with tools such as: AutoCAD, PVSyst, SketchUp, Helioscope Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Energy preferred). Job Purpose : The Senior Design Engineer will support Solar PV development activities including conceptual design, detailed CAD layouts, energy production modeling, performance analytics, and grid interconnection support. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work on commercial and utility-scale solar projects in a dynamic and rapidly growing renewable energy environment. Key Responsibilities : •Develop high-quality 2D/3D CAD drawings for commercial and utility-scale solar PV layouts. •Collect and analyze project inputs to prepare screening studies and preliminary design reports. •Perform detailed solar production modeling, including shading analysis and loss factor calculations. •Support electrical design deliverables such as SLD/3LD, circuit design, and substation component layouts. •Assist developers and engineering teams in the utility grid-interconnection process. •Conduct performance data analysis using Excel/Python, including KPI monitoring and reporting. •Prepare NEC-compliant drawings such as single-line diagrams, panel schedules, and connection diagrams using CAD tools. •Ensure design packages meet contractual, code, permitting, and client requirements. •Coordinate with
