ABOUT THE ROLE Join our Development team to support the growth of our fintech product. As a Mid PHP Developer , you will play a key role in designing, building, and scaling high-performance backend systems. You will take ownership of complex technical solutions, contribute to architectural decisions, and ensure the delivery of secure, robust, and maintainable code aligned with fintech industry standards. The application is open for candidates from the European Union. RESPONSIBILITIES Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems using PHP (8.x) and modern frameworks ( Symfony ). Work effectively with both legacy and modern codebases , ensuring stability, performance, and continuous improvement. Demonstrate a strong ability to analyze, understand, and maintain code independently , using AI tools as a supporting resource rather than a primary dependency. Architect robust, secure, and high-performing solutions aligned with fintech standards. Build and maintain REST APIs, ensuring proper versioning and backward compatibility. Optimize database performance (MySQL/MariaDB),
