The Summer Intern – Software Developer will report to and work within the Software Development department. The role includes training and hands-on experience as a full-stack professional software developer. As a full-stack developer, you will develop, enhance, maintain, and support our codebase of custom applications and interfaces to third-party vendor products. Work will be completed in both team and individual settings. Candidates must have permanent U.S. work authorization; we do not sponsor employment visas or accept students on a student visa. What you will do Train as a full-stack professional software developer. Your training will be a blend of videos, reading, researching, coding exercises, and completing an initial project. After training is completed, you will be assigned projects pulled from various Scrum Team’s backlogs. The work will primarily be web application development using Microsoft tools and frameworks deployed to Azure (Microsoft’s cloud).
