Responsibilities Design, code, test and deploy features and defect fixes in two-week sprints. Build REST APIs and integrations (ESB, HL7, FHIR, VALIP) with VA enterprise services. Write unit and integration tests and keep code scanning (SonarQube, Fortify) passing in CI/CD. Refactor legacy applications for VAEC and container hosting. Provide Tier 3 fixes: code changes, defect corrections and security remediation. Follow secure coding per VA Handbook 6500 and Section 508 accessibility standards. Qualifications 5+ years of full-stack development (Java, .NET, Python, React, Angular or Node.js) (Mid / Level II / “Journeyman”). 2+ years of software development. REST APIs, unit testing and CI/
