Working mode: remote Contract: B2B Start date: ASAP Duration: 3 months Part time possible We are seeking an experienced Embedded Firmware Engineer specializing in C++ to develop and maintain firmware for embedded systems. The ideal candidate will have expertise in modern C++ and embedded Linux, with a strong focus on testing and quality assurance. Main Responsibilities Design and implement embedded firmware in C++ for various applications. Ensure high-quality code through rigorous testing and validation processes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate firmware with hardware and applications. Participate in the entire firmware development lifecycle from requirements analysis to maintenance. Continuously explore and implement improvements in firmware development processes. Key Requirements Modern C++ (C++17) on embedded Linux; Python is a plus Experience with Yocto, kernels and BSPs A strong testing mindset, including unit testing, BDD and CI/CD (Jenkins, Bitbucket) Nice to Have: Experience with OCPP 1.6 / 2.0.1 and ISO 15118 Experience with EVerest or comparable open-source charging stacks Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot
