Senior Research Scientist

See yourself at Dataminr As a Senior Research Scientist at Dataminr, you will tackle some of the toughest AI problems in real time threat and risk intelligence, advancing the state of the art in large language models, generative AI, and agentic systems while seeing your work go straight into products. You will train and adapt LLMs, build multimodal and agentic systems that reason over live global data, and develop innovative solutions that surface the insights that matter most. You will do it alongside a collaborative team that cares about meaningful work.

This is a hybrid role based in our New York City or Arlington, VA office. AI Innovation at Dataminr Working at Dataminr you’ll have the opportunity to tackle the most exciting trends in AI on a daily basis to power a revolutionary product that uncovers critical events around the world as they unfold. Regenerative AI : our AI technology, ReGenAI, is a new form of generative AI that automatically regenerates real-time Live Event Briefs as events unfold.
