About the role We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer / Technical Lead to help design and build scalable enterprise data solutions that support advanced analytics and AI use cases. This is a senior, hands-on position combining data engineering, solution design and technical leadership. You will work closely with business, product and technology stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into scalable, reliable data platforms and pipelines. Key responsibilities Design, build and optimize batch and real-time data pipelines. Develop scalable data lakehouse and data warehouse architectures. Provide technical leadership across Azure Cloud, Databricks and Apache Spark environments. Build and enhance ETL/ELT pipelines using PySpark, Spark SQL and modern data engineering practices. Manage data ingestion, cleansing, transformation, augmentation and data quality processes. Work with business leaders, product owners and technology teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Break down complex data requirements into technical epics, user stories and delivery roadmaps. Perform workload and effort estimation for data engineering initiatives. Establish engineering standards covering data quality, governance, ingestion, storage and processing. Conduct code reviews and lead technical troubleshooting.
