Slovenia - This is a hybrid position, open to candidates residing in Slovenia and within commuting distance of our Ljubljana-based office.
As a Software Engineer at PDQ, you'll be a core contributor to PDQ, our cloud hosted end point management solution that IT professionals around the world rely on every day. In this role, you'll own meaningful pieces of the product end-to-end, from design and development through testing and delivery, working independently on moderately complex problems while collaborating closely with peers, product managers, and cross-functional partners. Depending on your background and our team needs, you may instead join the team building the remote desktop clients.
PDQ is built mainly in Elixir and Rust, and the clients in C++, Java, and Objective-C.
- Design, develop, test, and deliver high-quality software that meets functional, performance, and security requirements.
- Work independently on moderately complex tasks and projects, producing reliable, maintainable, and efficient code.
- Collaborate with peers, product managers, and other teams to translate requirements into effective technical solutions.
- Debug, troubleshoot and resolve issues across the full software stack, identifying root causes and implementing durable fixes.
- Collaborate with QA and DevOps teams to ensure reliable testing, deployment and monitoring of features.
