Opis

As a Software Engineer reporting to Senior Director of Software Engineering, you'll play a critical role in building the Java services and React/TypeScript applications that power a new R&D team focused on responsible AI for global financial markets. You'll thrive in this position if you take full ownership of your deliverables, embrace AI-assisted ways of working, and bring curiosity and a collaborative spirit to a team that values candid feedback and learning as much as delivery. Key Responsibilities Build and maintain backend services using Java and Spring, and develop user-facing applications using React and TypeScript, owning capabilities end to end. Design and implement secure integrations using REST and modern agent-to-agent protocols, ensuring quality through unit testing, manual validation, and test automation. Contribute to requirements analysis and architecture discussions, following and shaping decisions that affect team delivery. Collaborate with DevOps on deployment automation, observability, and portfolio security across environments. Apply AI-assisted tooling and Nasdaq's GenAI Platform to improve and optimize every step of the development process. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience. Proven years of experience in full-stack software engineering, with production-level Java expertise applying object-oriented design, design patterns, and SOLID principles.
