We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer to support enterprise infrastructure and networking operations for a large federal healthcare program. The Network Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure and resilient network solutions that ensure high availability, performance, and scalability. This role will work closely with infrastructure, cloud, and security teams to integrate on-premise and cloud environments, supporting mission-critical applications and services.
The candidate must reside within the continental US. Location: Remote (with occasional travel as required)
- Design, configure, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers. • Support WAN, LAN, and wireless networking solutions across hybrid on-premise and cloud environments. • Implement and optimize network security controls, including firewall rules, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and segmentation strategies. • Manage F5 and other load balancing platforms to ensure high availability and application delivery. • Perform network monitoring, traffic analysis, and root cause investigations using tools such as Solar
