Job Summary As a Software Development Engineer II in the Trust Engineering team at JioHotstar, you will build scalable and reliable systems that help keep our platform, users, content, and ecosystem safe and trustworthy. You will work on backend services and platform capabilities that detect, prevent, and mitigate abuse, fraud, policy violations, and other trust-related risks at scale. You will work closely with product, data science, security, and engineering teams to design and implement solutions that balance user experience, platform integrity, and operational efficiency. The role involves solving complex engineering problems across high-throughput systems, real-time decisioning, data processing, and distributed services. This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy solving challenging backend problems, working with large-scale systems, and building technology that directly impacts the safety and integrity of a consumer platform. About the Team The Trust Engineering team at JioHotstar works at the intersection of engineering, security, data, and user experience to build a safe and trusted streaming ecosystem. With hundreds of millions of users consuming content across multiple platforms, maintaining trust at scale requires robust systems for identifying suspicious activity, preventing abuse, protecting platform integrity, and enabling responsible user experiences.
