4 x Part-time (0.2 FTE, 7.5 hours per week), 2-year, fixed term positions, located on the Camperdown Campus at the School of Mathematics and Statistics Exciting opportunity to develop into the next generation of Australian University academics Base Salary (Level A) $93,424 p.a. (pro-rata) + 17% superannuation About the opportunity MUST BE ENROLLED IN A PHD OR MPHIL DEGREE AT THE UNIVERSITY OF SYDNEY The School of Mathematics and Statistics is currently seeking Honours graduates (or equivalent) in Mathematics and/or Statistics for appointment as a Postgraduate Teaching Fellow at Associate Lecturer level. The Postgraduate Teaching Fellows contribute to the teaching and learning activities of the School through the delivery of undergraduate tutorials; the preparation and development of tutorial materials and quizzes; exam preparation and marking; and by assisting with academic administration and supporting the work of the Director of First Year. Applicants must be enrolled in a PhD or MPhil degree within the School of Mathematics and Statistics and expect to remain enrolled until at least 1 December 2028. The salary for these positions is paid in addition to any scholarship funding. The Fellowship Program provides training and experience in tertiary teaching to outstanding postgraduate students, with the aim of developing the next generation of university academics.
