Veriday Inc is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Back End) for a contract assignment with a reputed banking client in Cincinnati, OH. The engineer will provide technical leadership on enterprise applications, bringing deep Java/J2EE and Spring expertise, hands-on AWS experience, and Terraform-based infrastructure automation.

Lead the design, development, and delivery of scalable, secure enterprise applications using Java/J2EE and the Spring ecosystem (Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring Security). Architect cloud-native solutions on AWS (e.g., EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, SQS, SNS, API Gateway). Design, build, and maintain Infrastructure as Code with Terraform to provision and manage AWS resources.
Develop and consume high-performance, secure RES
Tful web services (SOAP experience is also valued). Drive architectural decisions and set best practices for code quality, microservices design, and software development. Partner with product owners, architects, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into actionable technical plans.
