As a Senior Platform Engineer working within our software engineering group, you’ll design the architecture needed for our test, build and deployment pipelines as well as the services that underpin our factory software. You will guide technical decisions covering our full technology stack including on-prem hardware, hypervisors, container orchestration, platform services, application software, robotics and cloud. You’ll be a subject matter expert who is able to provide practical help and guidance to allow the whole team to make the most of our platform. This includes advising on regulatory and security best-practices for local continuous integration and remote factory production environments. This is a hands-on role. You’ll regularly diagnose issues with CI/CD pipelines, perform maintenance, deploy into new factory networks and review the contributions of others in the team. This is an opportunity to join a truly multi-disciplinary team and broaden your skillset. As well as working within an established software group, you’ll regularly collaborate across robotics, systems engineering and test teams. Your open and collaborative working style combined with a breadth of technical knowledge will allow you to work effectively with the whole team.
