Location: Remote, Mexico Nexaminds is looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to design, build, optimize, and scale high-performance backend systems and modern cloud applications. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Java, Python, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and AI/LLM backend integrations, and enjoys working in a fast-paced, highly collaborative engineering environment.

5–8+ years of professional backend engineering experience working with both Java and Python. Deep expertise with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and cloud-native architectures. Hands-on experience building, maintaining, and optimizing scalable data pipelines and core backend systems.

Familiarity with Large Language Models (LLMs) and AI/ML backend integration patterns. Experience utilizing AI-assisted development tools like GitHub Copilot to drive efficiency and clean code standards. A strong mindset for Application Security (AppSec), with experi
