Senior Software Engineer - Cloud Infrastructure Pittsburgh, PA / United States or Remote in USA About OneArc We believe in saving lives through simulation. We build high-fidelity, repeatable, and accessible virtual training environments that prepare NATO-allied militaries and defense organizations for real-world scenarios. We make mission-critical military simulations, not commercial video games, and our work directly impacts global readiness. About the Role We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help build the distributed services that drive our real-time simulation systems. You will design, implement, and maintain low-latency, high-throughput backend infrastructure to ensure our APIs and data pipelines meet extreme performance demands. You will lead technical design efforts, ensure scalable cloud resource usage, and shape the architecture that powers our core training platforms. What You'll Do Develop, maintain, and architect robust software features and distributed modules. Break down complex project requirements into clear, actionable implementation plans for your pod. Actively mentor less experienced engineers in system design, performance optimization, and modern cloud-native development. Identify and propose game-changing improvements, from technical debt removal to optimizing development processes.
