As a Senior Kafka & DevOps Engineer, you will be working for our client, a leading global financial institution focused on delivering seamless, secure, and scalable data solutions.
You will support a strategic managed Kafka platform, enabling real-time data processing across multiple regions and tenancy models, and contribute to the development of a robust, Kubernetes-based infrastructure. Join a dynamic, international team and help shape the future of global data ecosystems. Your main responsibilities: Administer and support the Confluent Kafka platform across multiple regions and tenancy models.
Maintain and enhance Kubernetes-based infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and scalability. Build and refine DevOps CI/CD pipelines to accelerate deployment cycles. Collaborate with global stakeholders from Germany, France, the UK, Hong Kong, the US, and China to deliver integrated solutions.
Participate in an on-call rota, providing evening and weekend support to ensure platform stability. Support out-of-hours change activities as needed to minimize downtime. Continuously improve platform security, performance, and reliability.
